Abby is a 20 lb, 5 month old boxer mix. She is still young and still growing since she is still a puppy. Abby is full of energy. She loves to play and run around. Abby will need a home with a big backyard with lots of room to play. This dog will make a perfect addition to your family.

Tiger is a sweet girl, very timid and in need of love. She was rescued by a wonderful Man who had seen her being thrown from a car and brought her to us. She had of course some trust issues from this but now she is a sweet as pie and loves everyone. ' She has such a cute personallity. She has a little gravelly voice and is not loud but when you baby talk to her or take her picture she puckers up and starts singing. She is passive with humans and often rolls on her back. I can't help but wonder if she was abused. She appreciates pets and attention and is a total sweetheart. Her time at my house she's been living in my garage with a side yard run. She hasn't chewed or dug or been destructive in anyway. I don't know about her indoor manners. She is great around my two kids and any people she's come in contact with'

Pixie is a sweet girl that is in need of extreme love she came to us from a backyard breeding situation starving and scared. She loves to just sit on the couch and relax . Pixie does not like cats and is unsure of dogs she has found a friend here and there that she has liked but would prob do better as an only dog, she deserves to be spoiled. She great with kids and adults, rides in the car great and is great on walks. Pixie is spayed UTD on shots and rabies and will have an adoption fee of $100

Pit Bull is not actually a breed. It is a term that refers to three different breeds, and any mix therein. The three breeds are American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

American Pit Bull Terriers were originally bred in the 19th century. They are extraordinarily muscular. Despite their reputation, American Pit Bull Terriers can make wonderful family pets!

The American Staffordshire Terrier descended from the English Bulldog, and was developed in the 19th century for dog fighting. American Staffordshire Terriers are extremely friendly and affectionate to people, including children and strangers.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was also eveloped in Staffordshire, England in the 19th century. Staffordshire Bull Terriers have long been a favorite family dog in England. They are incredibly affectionate and devoted, and they adore children.

All three Pit Bull breeds have dog fighting backgrounds, and may retain the instinct for aggression toward other animals. Obedience training and socialization are absolute musts! Pit Bull mixes have all of the good traits of a purebred, often without the genetic health issues due to inbreeding. Best of all, when you adopt a Pit Bull mix, you adopt a one-of-a-kind companion.

American Temperament Test, "pit bull" dogs achieved a combined passing score of 84.4%.

American Pit Bull Terrier: 542 tested 84.1% passed

American Staffordshire Terrier: 521 tested 83.9% passed

Staffordshire Bull Terrier: 61 tested 85.2% passed

Total: 1124 tested 84.4% passed
